जोए बिडेन के इस ट्वीट के तुरंत बाद उनके सभी समर्थकों के बीच उन्हें रीट्वीट कर के बधाई देने की होड़ उमड़ पड़ी। सिर्फ उन्हें समर्थक ही नहीं बल्कि अन्य देशो के राजनितिक हस्तियों से भी बिडेन को जीत की बधाई मिली। हालाँकि पूर्व राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रम्प ने अभी तक अपनी हार स्वीकार नहीं की है और लगातार चुनावी नतीजों को गलत बता रहे हैं। परन्तु दूसरी तरफ जोए बिडेन और उपराष्ट्रपति कमला हैरिस ने व्हाइट हाउस को संभालने की दिशा में रविवार को ही पहला कदम उठा लिया और बदलाव की प्रक्रिया के लिए एक वेबसाइट और ट्विटर फीड की शुरुआत की।

गौरतलब है की भारतीय प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंदर मोदी ट्रम्प समर्थक रहे हैं और उनके उपलक्ष्य में कई रैलियां और प्रोग्राम भी किये। साल 2020, फरवरी माह में भारतीय प्रधानमंत्री ने ट्रम्प को भारत आने का न्योता दिया जिसे स्वीकार करते हुए ट्रम्प ने “नमस्ते ट्रम्प” कार्यक्रम में हिस्सा लिया। परन्तु श्री नरेंद्र मोदी द्वारा किये गए सभी प्रयास विफल हुए। प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने अपने मित्र ट्रम्प की हार स्वीकार कर बिडेन को जीत की शुभकामना दी। मोदी ने कहा की” बिडेन से उनके रिश्ते काफी अच्छे हैं, और उन्हें बेहद ख़ुशी है की अमेरिका के लोगो ने उनपर विश्वास जताया और उन्हें सेवा का मौका दिया”। वहीँ दूसरी तरफ चीन ने भी डोनाल्ड ट्रम्प की हार को स्वीकार करने से मना कर दिया है। चीन की तरफ से बिडेन को अभी तक जीत की बधाई नहीं मिली है, जबकि चीन इन चुनिंदा देशो में से एक है जो ये मानता है की चुनावी परिणाम गलत हैं।
